First encounter I would possibly not remember, but I know I was super hyped on it then i seen these dudes boating flatground and ollieing through these road barriers at this downtown festival we have now where I lived called "Swedish Days". All the dudes got sold like two different colored Airwalk shoes on with duct tape, painter hats, all flaired out, I recall just thinking "These dudes are bad ass, that's how I want to be! " Around the same time frame I was always psyched a lot more could catch "Skate TV" for Nickelodeon. Obviously totally stumped about skateboarding, but nonetheless, super hyped. I didn't actually start skating until months or even years after that, when a skate shop opened by my house called Rich's, which is funny to consider, because the place was this sort of ' circus, but I would just skate whilst in shop an to me in that particular the most bad ass thing ever when you are.
